READING BOOKS IS UNDERRATED

Murasaki shikibuu, a Japanese woman wrote the novel "The tale of Genji" which consisted of fifty four chapters revolving around courtly seductions and it is believed to be the first ever written novel. In this day and age everybody wants to obtain information, have fun, acquire knowledge in the most easier way through listening to podcasts and watching videos.

Reading us the most underrated pleasure of life, you can gain so much from reading books in your free time,you can travel, fight,cry and learn to love different personalities from the comfort of your bed. Books are always filled with fun and interesting new and existing facts. They have the ability to provide us with information that we would not have known.

Reading books can take you from one world to another, when you are having a bad day it's better to pick up a book than overthink at night. Once you start reading, sometimes it is hard to stop once you engage in fiction stories of romance,fights and friendships. You won't probably go to bed early because you are way too intrigued to just close the book and continue reading one more chapter.

There is no doubt that reading has a great impact on one's mental health, provided that one reads daily. It can transport you to another world away from the daily monotonous routine, by doing so it can decrease stress levels. Unlike tiny bits of information that people get on YouTube videos and podcasts books cover information in detail, there is no filter needed when writing books.

Creating bedtime routine that includes reading books can signal your body that it is time to sleep, we rely on our phones to get through the day therefore setting aside your phone aside and picking up a book is telling your brain that it is time to sleep.

Apparently someone once said " if you want something from a black man, hide it in a book". In conclusion, reading is not bad at all people should try and embrace a reading culture.
